"Invisible Threads"

Art has met geneaology in a project open to the public this week just outside Brigstock.

A Victorian lighthouse keepers´ wife at Land's End, a medal-winning wartime telephonist and the mother of a medieval archer - just some of a host of women reclaimed from obscurity by the "Invisible Threads" project.

It's based at Sudborough Green Cottages in Fermyn Woods. The pieces include printed teatowels and colourful and elaborate textiles.

The exhibition at the cottage remains open at
Fermyn Woods Friday and Saturday ( March 12/13 ) between 12noon and 3pm.
