After going two goals up through MICHAEL CHONG and PAUL DJENERALOVIC in a one-sided first half, Weldon threw their game away by conceding two terrible goals.

Weldon played good football at times and were good for a two-nil win through SEAN FRASER and MARK BRADLEY.

Weldon United ‘A’  4-0 Welford Victoria Reserves                     

A great 4-0 victory for Weldon against second placed Welford Victoria.   SEAN WRIGHT’s opener was followed by a tap-in from DAVID O’NEILL and a great volley from DAVID WHITELAM.

The win was sealed for the home team in the second half through debutant MATTHEW McALINDEN.  Three games, 18 goals and only 1 conceded due to the comeback of today’s Man-of-the-Match, STEVEN ‘Beckenbaur’ SCALES.
