Under 13 boys - Fraser Dalby led from start to finish to take the
county 800m. title in a time of 2mins .28.5 secs which is a new pb and
also found time to win the Javelin on Sunday.
Under 15 boys - Jasper Larken had a busy weekend winning gold in the
100m. and recorded a Championship best performance and new pb of 11.7
secs in the heats . He took the 400m. title in another new pb of 54.9
secs , added the 200m. title in 24.7 secs and for good measure won the
long jump in yet another pb of 5.42m.
Under 17 men - Sam Foster won the Hammer in 53.75m. and Scott
Kendall was another who had a busy weekend winning gold in javelin
47.92m., shot 10.84m. land long jump in 5.75m
Under 20 men - Ali Fowler took the 800m. title in 2 mins 02.2 secs
Senior Men - Sebastian Wilson Dyer Gough jumped 6.32m. to take long
jump gold
Veteran Men - Troy Garrity ran 16 min 31.8 secs to win the county
5000m. title and Wilson Paterson ran a season's best of 60.3 secs for
400m. gold.
Under 13 girls - Sophia Martin took her 1st County 70m. Hurdles title
in 13.4 secs
Under 15 girls - Kingswood school pupil Emma MacFarlane won 4 County
titles at the weekend. The first was on Saturday in difficult conditions
when she jumped 1.45m. then Sunday saw a hat trick of titles with a new
long jump pb of 4.93m. , Javelin pb of 20.01m. and to cap it all set a
new Championship record of 43.7 secs in the 300m.
Ellie Welch set a new personal best when winning the 1500m. in 5mins 9
secs just in front of her team mate Abigail Morrowe Harris.
Under 20 - Rachel Tyler won the discus title in 38.42m. and Charlotte
Bowling won the 200m. in 26.4 secs and for good measure won the 400m. in
59.7 secs which is a new pb.
