Wirral disappointment for Steelmen

Corby Town lost 3-2 at Vauxhall Motors on Tuesday night in the Blue Square North.

Ben Mackey put Corby Town 1-0 up just after the half-hour mark -  but then was streetchered off with a broken leg early in the second half following a 50/50 challenge. Vauxhall went into a 2-1 lead after the break as Liam Dolman was sent off, but Vauxhall also had a player dismissed shortly afterwards.

Although Nathan Jarman levelled to make it 2-2, Vauxhall scored a winner with five minutes left, and Corby now slip to 11th in the table.
