How did you get into radio:
My first experience of radio was a local BBC interview when I was aged 10, I got into actively working in the business through university radio in Leeds and their local station Radio Aire along with the Galaxy network (now Capital).
What is your motto in life:
A chance to fail is a reason to succeed.
When you were younger, what was your dream job:
Quite a few; Superman, Chef, Actor and Broadcaster.
What’s the best thing about Corby Radio:
Great people, great music, great station.
Tell us an unusual fact about yourself:
I was a child prodigy on the trumpet.
What’s your most embarrassing on air moment:
When working on a show with a small team I banned a record from being record of the week and even being played because I thought it so bad, it went on to be a massive number one hit.
What’s your favourite food:
I'm a bit of a foodie and love all different things but I suppose my ultimate is an amazing steak.
Favourite Tv/films/shows:
Love a variety of comedy shows but particularly all things Gervais/Merchant, Modern Family, Phoenix Nights and classics like Men Behaving Badly, Royle Family etc.
I'm a big fan of Scorsese movies, particularly Raging Bull and I also love Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill I & II, Some Like It Hot, Cemetary Junction, Home Alone, Disney classics and many more besides.
Your favourite holiday destination:
I love Cyprus and would also love to explore the States more than I have.
Who is your favourite radio presenter of all time
Too hard to pick one but for different reasons I love Simon Mayo, Chris Moyles, Chris Evans, Mark Radcliffe, Zane Lowe, Mark Pougatch, Simon Hirst, Dave Kelly, Greg James, Ken Bruce, Richard Keys, Nicholas Parsons and more besides.
